Color Block Portrait
As a school assignment we were tasked with the creation of a color block portrait of ourselves. I decided to color block one of my favorite images of me when I was younger since it seemed challenging with all the wispy hairs. I took the image I had and input it into Illustrator and started blocking out the areas where the colors gradated into one another. I then used the color picker to choose the most prominent color in each block and refined the portrait from there.
